It took the ferry 30 hours to get to Brindisi. I only booked a Pullman seat which was pretty uncomfortable for 2 nights but fortunately the ferry was basically empty and you almost had to ship to yourself. The route was interesting because for the most part there was land somewhere to be seen. Actually the route brought me back to two places I already knew; only this time I drove under them instead of over them, the canal of Corinth and the bridge of Patra. It felt funny seeing these places again from a different perspective and gave me a sense of how far I had traveled with my motorcycle.
