The third day was a little more quite. In the morning we got to see a young tarantula that was resting near the hammocks. We had sun the whole day. In the morning we went for a walk to a local village where we learned a little bit about the life and the problems in the jungle. We learned that you can have more then cats or dogs as pets, a small creature about as big as a cat suddenly dropped from the wall behind me and started sleeping on my shoulders. After lunch we went swimming in the river and our guide showed us how to pan for gold. He was actually able to extract some fine gold dust with every load he brought. In the evening we headed back to Tena.
