In Tena we stayed in the Hostal Rio Tena right by the terminal. It is a nice place but you should try to get a room that is not facing the terminal. We started looking for tours right away and although there isn’t as much competition we finally went for Amarongachi. We booked a 3 day tour and although I found the tour a little expensive at first, now I am glad we did it anyways.
