The next day we took a bus to Riobamba. Once there we didn’t find any information about visiting the national park there and since the air was still contaminated from the recent outbreak of the volcano near Banos, many people were wearing dust masks in the street, and we decided to continue on to Laso. There it was even worse. If you don’t want to climb the Cotopaxi then there is not much for you to do there. We just saw one hotel. We had a nice view of the volcano in the sunset and then stopped the next bus to Quito.
