Just before leaving Santiago, I went to visit Los Angeles, a half hour ride from the city is a nice waterfall to see. Then it was time for me to leave Santiago, I spent almost 4 months there and I felt at home. My first stop on my way north was La Serena where I visited a small town in a valley with lots of vineyards called Pisco Elqui. It was the exact opposite of Santiago, quiet, small and very relaxed.
