In Kavala I stayed one day on the Camping Akti Kavala Batis. Although right by the city you won’t notice because the complex is located in a small bay that hides it’s proximity to the city. The camping and the beach are pretty nice. In the morning I went for a walk in the city and in the afternoon I took a sun chair on the beach to relax for a while.
There was a Swiss couple on the camping as well. They were on their way back to Switzerland after crossing all of Africa in their Land Rower. In the evening we talked for a while about our adventures and they gave me some tips on what to see in Turkey where I headed the next morning.
